The Skyfarm Estates began as one of the four famous Crocker family estate homes and acreage located in Hillsborough California. Originally over 300 acres, the Skyfarm Estates is located at the highest geographical point in the town of Hillsborough and the San Francisco Peninsula. There are vistas all the way to the San Francisco Skyline, across the bay to mount Diablo and south to mount Hamilton. The planes landing at San Francisco International Airport can be seen below as they make the approach. The topography of Skyfarm today is much the same as it always was, soaring ridges and deep oak wooded canyons. The original Italian renaissance castle designed by Arthur Brown Jr, the architect of San Francisco’s civic center, was built in the 20’s for William W Crocker. The majestic mansion still stands on several beautifully landscaped private acres, and is now the Prestigious Nueva School.
First subdivided in the early 70’s, the ridges and knolls became building sites, and the wooded canyons open space preserves. Until Subdivided, Skyfarm was a real working farm with cattle roaming the grassy hilltops.
Now mostly built out, there are only a few of the original vacant building sites remaining in The Skyfarm Estates, one of these being 74 Eugenia Way. Like much of Skyfarm, 74 Eugenia has views all the way to the skyline of San Francisco and across San Francisco Bay to Mount Diablo. The gentle to moderately downsloping lot is .66 acre and has room for an architecturally significant structure, an accessory dwelling unit and the perfect place for an infinity pool. Among multi million homes, 74 Eugenia is a great value at $3,225,000
